With its lunar mission Artemis, the US space agency NASA is getting ready to return people to the moon for the first time in over 50 years.
On Monday, August 29, the first action in this direction will be taken. At 6:03 p.m., Artemis-1, the mission's initial test flight, will launch from Florida's Space Coast.

According to NASA, the Orion crew capsule and the new Space Launch System (SLS) Megarocket will reach the Moon.
It will take the capsule 42 days, 3 hours, and 20 minutes to complete this mission, after which it will return to Earth on October 10.
A total distance of 20 lakh 92 thousand 147 kilometres would be covered by the spaceship.
Following this, Artemis-3 will be sent on its final mission. Landing on the moon's surface will be the astronauts' last destination. Around 2030, this mission will launch.
The Artemis-3 Human Moon expedition will include women for the first time.
